01Who handles your information
This policy covers FolioShore, operated by datouguai, and its product website. For privacy questions or requests, email datouguai666@gmail.com.
The public website is currently a preview with fictional sample PDFs. Account registration and payments are not yet open to the public. The account-related sections explain the planned service; we will update this notice if the launched service handles information differently.
02Information used by the service
Website delivery and security involve technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. If you email support, your email address, message and any attachments are received through the support mailbox.
When accounts open, we will use your email address, account and library identifiers, verification and session records, trial dates, usage limits and subscription status. We will store uploaded PDFs, generated covers and publication metadata, including original filenames, titles, descriptions, issue dates, page counts and file sizes.
For paid plans, the application records customer, subscription, order and transaction references and payment-status notifications. Creem handles payment-card collection; FolioShore does not ask you to send card details by email or enter them into a publication form.
03Why information is used
Information is used to provide the website and requested service, verify sign-ins, publish and retrieve PDFs, manage subscriptions and refund requests, send service messages, answer support requests, and prevent fraud or abuse.
Where a legal basis is required, these purposes rely on performing our agreement with you, meeting legal obligations, or legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, as applicable. Where a particular optional use requires consent, we will seek it before that use.
04Published PDFs are public
FolioShore is a publishing service, not private file storage. Successfully published PDFs, covers and publication metadata are available to people who visit your public library or publication links while access is active. Original filenames may also be visible.
Readers may download, share or otherwise retain public content, and public pages may be indexed by search engines. Publish only information you are authorized to disclose. Removing a publication cannot erase copies already downloaded, shared or cached by others.
New access links stop when a publication is removed or access ends. Previously issued file links can remain valid for up to 60 seconds, and a transfer already started may continue.
05Service providers and external links
Hosting and security providers process technical requests to deliver and protect the website. Support correspondence is handled through the displayed Gmail address. Our planned account service uses Cloudflare R2 for PDF and backup storage, Resend for sign-in and service emails, and Creem for payment processing.
These providers receive the information needed for their role, such as a file to store, an email address and message to deliver, or payment and subscription details. Providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where applicable law requires specific safeguards for a transfer, those arrangements must be in place before the affected account service opens.
We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to investigate abuse and protect people or the service. Links in PDFs or image credits may take you to another website, whose handling of information is covered by its own policies. Creem explains its payment-data handling in its Privacy Notice.
07Retention and deletion
Publication content is retained while the service is active. After access ends, the normal file-retrieval window is 30 days; content cleanup is then scheduled, with backup removal scheduled by 60 days after access ends. Cleanup jobs may need retries. Backups are for service recovery and are not a version-history feature.
Those deadlines apply to publication content, not every account record. Account and trial-history records, payment references, security records and support messages may remain where needed to maintain the account, prevent repeated-trial abuse, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. Retention depends on those purposes and applicable requirements; we do not promise that all personal information disappears automatically when a subscription ends.
To request account closure or deletion of personal information, contact datouguai666@gmail.com. There is no automatic account-deletion button in the current application. We may verify that you control the account and explain what can be deleted and what must be retained. External providers maintain their own records under their policies and obligations.
08Your choices and requests
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, obtain a portable copy, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent where consent is used, or complain to a data-protection authority.
Send requests to datouguai666@gmail.com, preferably from your account email. Tell us what you need without including passwords or card details. We may ask for information necessary to verify a request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
You control the content you publish and can remove individual publications while editing is available. Do not use FolioShore to publish children's personal information or other sensitive records without the permissions and protections required by law.
09Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the service or its information handling changes. Material changes will be brought to users' attention where required. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
