Folio Desk local visual revision, checked 2026-10-19. These are editorial illustrations and fictional demo publications, not customers or endorsements.

- Editorial desk photograph: **Artem Podrez / Pexels**, https://www.pexels.com/photo/person-hands-hand-notebook-6787056/ . Locally resized WebP variants: editorial-desk-960.webp and editorial-desk-1800.webp. Displayed in its original colors; the photograph is not a screenshot of Folio Desk.
- Coastal photograph: **Enrique / Pexels**, https://www.pexels.com/photo/aerial-shot-of-a-rocky-coast-6495446/ . coast-color.jpg is used inside fictional Harbor Notes PDFs, with different crops of the same photograph; it is not sold as a standalone image.

Official license pages checked for this use: https://www.pexels.com/license/ and https://unsplash.com/license . Both describe permitted commercial use and modification, with restrictions. This records source checks, not ownership of the photography or a general legal opinion.

The source/author/license map for these and reused photos is coverage-sources.json; local source dimensions, download URLs and hashes are in artifacts/example-coverage-20261019/photo-sources.json. Official photo/license pages were checked, and the three images visually inspected. All example files are served locally. Earlier sources and their historical verification records below remain valid.

The official photo pages and https://www.pexels.com/license/ were checked on 2026-10-19. Resized, locally served images are combined with authored text and layouts in fictional PDF demos; no customer or endorsement is implied. Source URLs, download URLs, dimensions and SHA-256 are recorded in artifacts/example-library-20261019/sample-provenance.json. The photographs are not offered for standalone purchase or stock redistribution.

Cover JPEGs are actual PDF.js first-page renders. See public/samples/README.md. The original three covers retain their color-photo provenance, and six added covers are recorded in artifacts/example-library-20261019/pdf-and-cover-checks.json. Loading the product pages requires no live third-party image request.

Historical coast.jpg (Venti Views / Unsplash) belongs to the earlier monochrome demos, is retained for provenance, and is not used in the current colored demos.
